is anyone seriously pulling for Evgeny Pulshenko of Russia to win the 2010 mens figureskating title?
so mr evgeny plushenko is back to compete for russia and win the olympics.. i;m sorry i just have to get this off my chest, but HE IS SO OVER RATED!!!!! yes he can jump.. other than that his inbetween moves and flailing arms make no sense, he stops half way thru his program and shake his hips while he takes a breather .. does anyone else stop and do that??.. NO! half of his jumps are done through basic cross cuts leading up to them , he just has no substance, i can think of 10 other skaters including patrick chan ( canada) , as much as i dislike johnny weir.. him too ( usa), brian joubert (france) thomas verner( czech rep.) , etc who are wayy better then him.. i just want to know your opinion on plushenko and if you think he was over marked at cup of russia earlier this season.
I am seriously not pulling for Plushy. He's never been my kind of skater. He can jump well, but he lacks elegeance and grace, not to mention that frantic footwork and flailing arms that leave me cold. The only returning Olympians I am hoping for good results are Shen and Zhao. Their recent Grand Prix event shows that they still have it over all the other pairsl.
