Some Problems With Single Number Plate Systems
In America, a total of nineteen states use single plate systems. What this means is that vehicles only display one number plate on the back of the vehicle, rather than one on the back and one on the front. There are a few concerns about this system, mostly from three chief groups, and this article aims to explore some of those concerns.
The first group who are concerned about the lack of license plates on the front of a vehicle are police. Having a plate on the front, but not one on the back, means that they have to be able to see the back of a vehicle to be able to check if it’s either the one they’re looking for, or for ANPR technology to work. One complaint that repeatedly crops up is that whilst on the way to a crime, if a vehicle that matches the description of one that was at the scene comes the other way, they have to slow down and make sure they are able to see the rear end of it, rather than being able to glance at the front, to see if the number plate matches the one of the vehicle at the crime scene. This means that they are either slower to the crime scene, or have a reduced chance of apprehending the vehicle.
It also means that stationary ANPR traffic cameras don’t operate as well, as they can only see traffic that’s moving away from them.
The second group that is chiefly concerned are those with personalised number plates. If somebody purchases cherished number plates, only to find that it’s only going to be seen by people who can keep up with them on the road, they may well be displeased.
The third are advertisers. Recently, bill boards have begun to spring up that use ANPR cameras to display the registration of the car in front of them and then show them a product that would be useful to that car or its owner. They can show anything from the type of oil your car should use to the current price that certain dealers will pay for your car second hand. These become useless without a number plate on the front.
With more states considering using this, there’s a concern that it may become too widespread for some people.

Just wondering because I worked behind the scenes before. And half the people don't know what goes on in the kitchen, the delivery trucks, freezer, etc. In 5 star restaurants.
If I can't see it, smell it or taste it then I am not too concerned.

To tell you the truth I trust the places run by poor immigrants that I go to more than the places where the wealthy go. So many people hate rich folks God knows what some will do to harm them. Whereas nobody is envying me. Sometimes I can even see what is going on in the kitchen.
