How can I clean my shower really well?
I have a strange shower. It's made of tile board (particle board with a laminated tile print. It has a cement floor with a raised teak floor. I don't understand why they just didn't tile it to begin with and make a regular shower, but the people who built my house are from Finland and I think the shower was meant to be used as an after-sauna shower (it's next to the sauna).
The problem is, the shower gets really gross. I try to clean it with all sorts of stuff, scrubbing bubbles, bleach, even The Works toilet bowl cleaner. Nothing will get the mildew off the teak and the walls are mildewy as well. I just don't know how to clean it properly.
I really want to get it tiled so it will be easier to take care of, but my husband won't let me right now.
Can someone offer a good solution so that I can get a clean shower without being chased out of cleaning by noxious fumes? Thanks!
